Rank Digital places new compliance demands on affiliate marketing partners

Issuing a corporate statement, Rank Group Plc has announced that it has moved to toughen its affiliate program’s due diligence requirements for new and existing marketing partners, as the operator seeks to meet ‘elevated industry regulatory requirements’.

Updating stakeholders, group subsidiary Rank Digital which operates the marketing services of Grosvenor and Mecca digital properties will add a series of new due diligence checks, seeking to gain ‘clear visibility’ on partner marketing activity and the promotion of Rank Digital products and services.

In the communication, Rank Senior Media Manager Dana Bocker states that the provisions have been implemented to sustain the requirements of the group’s ‘licensing and regulatory conditions’.

“Rank takes compliance very seriously and is committed to ensuring both a fair and secure playing environment for all of our customers, as well as a transparent and profitable affiliate platform for our partners.” Bocker comments.

“Our new requirements allow affiliates to promote Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo confident they meet the UK marketing guidelines that protect customers.”

The firm ends its notice, by stating that it will deliver a new communication to its marketing partners this week, outlining information requirements needed to promote Rank Digital services.

‘Affiliates can expect communications this week that highlight the required information partners need to provide and we are clear that those that do not respond, or cannot provide the necessary information, face suspension and withheld payments.’
