Henrik Tjärnström: Kindred Group delivering on its enlarged vision

Speaking to investors, Henrik Tjärnström Chief Executive of Kindred Group Plc is pleased to have closed a transformative and successful 2017 for the Stockholm-listed online gambling firm.

Presenting his CEO statement, Tjärnström is pleased to have ‘delivered on Year1 of Kindred Group’s vision’, detailing that the company is progressing on its long-term strategic goals.

2017 has been a fruitful year for Kindred operations, as the enlarged company delivered consecutive record-breaking KPIs quarters against tough market and shareholder expectations.

Tjärnström believes that a significant part of Kindred’s present success has been achieved through the company’s ‘past shrewd decision making’ with regards to its growth strategy, marketing and product development.

Detailing corporate dynamics, Tjärnström points to Kindred’s successful M&A strategy. Undertaking 12 acquisitions to date, Kindred governance has not only expanded its brand portfolio but more importantly supported the fast-growth of ‘organic asset’ Unibet.com

Tjärnström further details that past ‘technology bets’, have paid-off for the online gambling group, pointing to the significantly higher ‘mobile engagement rate’ of Kindred customers against competitors. This has been achieved through investing in proprietary technology and product development as far back as 2006.

Moving forward, Tjärnström firmly believes that Kindred has developed effective corporate competencies, which will deliver continued growth as regulated online gambling markets continue to expand.

Breaking down Kindred’s active geographical territories, Tjärnström is pleased to report accelerate growth within Western Europe and  further expanding presence in new CIS territories, which have helped the operator relieve pressure from its saturated Nordic home markets.

Entering 2018, Kindred continues its new market expansion, confirming the launch of new Romanian online casino property VladCazino. Furthermore, the operator will launch a dedicated ‘cutting edge racing platform based on mobile and desktop best practices’.
