Sportech reaches multi-layered ten year Camarero agreement

Sportech Racing and Digital has announced that it has entered into a fresh multifaceted agreement with the Puerto Rican Camarero Racetrack.

The division of Sportech PLC, has undertaken a new ten year contract with its long term customer, related to totalisator services and web and mobile pari-mutuel betting platforms.

Through the Sportech Quantum System, pari-mutuel betting software and local operational services, the firm is to continue to provide pari-mutuel betting technologies and services to the track and its online betting channels.

In addition, an upgrade of the Camarero website, ganadondesea.com, to the “latest generation” G4 wagering platform is to also be undertaken, providing online users with “a new feature rich betting experience,” as well as providing tools to further enhance customer engagement.

As part of the deal Sportech is to also deploy its Digital Link mobile betting app, “offering a convenient, optimised betting experience to consumers who wish to use their own smartphone or tablet to wager conveniently and securely.”

Whilst the final aspect of the deal will see a capability to offer fixed-odds simulated racing, through both land-based and digital channels, via the Sportech virtual racing offering.
