O'Donnell, BerliniGB Affiliate has confirmed that last month’s Berlin Affiliate Conference (BAC) was the best attended in its history.

A total of 3,056 delegates attended the four-day event at Messe Berlin, which followed the EiG Expo in the same city, and included 1,695 affiliates and introducing brokers.

The focus has now shifted to the London Affiliate Conference (LAC) on 9-12 February, which has moved to the 100-acre ExCeL London to accommodate for a surge in demand. The world’s largest affiliate conference will take place immediately after ICE, with more than 5,000 delegates expected to attend.

The expected attendance figures represent a 10% rise on the 4,555 which attended the 2016 edition, and approaching ten times the 600 delegates at the inaugural event in 2007.

Shona O’Donnell, iGaming Business’ head of operations, commented: “This year’s Berlin Affiliate Conference was a record-breaking and resounding success, and we were delighted to see plenty of new and familiar faces in Germany.

“With a little over three months to go until LAC, iGB Affiliate has planned what will be the biggest and best affiliate conference yet. We’ll have some exciting announcements to make in the coming weeks, and we look forward to seeing everyone in London next year.”
