iGB Affiliate has responded to feedback from a survey of affiliates by announcing the launch of a new regional event focused on the Nordic iGaming market.

ODonnell, Nordic ConferenceThe Nordic Affiliate Conference (NAC) will take place in Stockholm on April 7, 2017, and is expected to be very different to the larger exhibitions in London, Amsterdam and Berlin, with a stronger focus on networking and Nordic-focused workshops.

Shona ODonnell, Head of Operations for iGB Affiliate, said: “Launching an event in the Nordic region made a lot of sense. It’s a region that has undergone a huge amount of growth over the last few years, but more importantly the market has requested the event.

“We want to bring the iGaming Nordic community together and give them both an incredible event experience, but also a platform to discuss local issues, do business and drive the region forward.”

The launch comes after a survey showed that more than one in four wanted an affiliate event dedicated to the Nordics. Several high-profile members of the Nordic iGaming community have already spoken out in support of NAC.

Michael Golembo, Sales and Marketing Director of EGO, said: “The Nordic region is an incredibly important market in iGaming, and a dedicated affiliate event in the region is long overdue. We really look forward to supporting the event and meeting with our affiliate and acquisition partners there.”

Ben Clemes, Managing Director of iGamingCloud at Gaming Innovation Group, said: “With the changing landscape of the Scandinavian market, it is so beneficial to have an opportunity to meet with other operators and marketers to discuss the upcoming regulatory changes and market shift in general. iGaming is becoming more open, and so events where we can share information are crucial for all of our future success.”

Jesper Søgaard, CEO of Better Collective, said: “LAC, BAC and the other conferences hosted by iGaming Business are great places for getting up to date with the iGaming industry and networking with like-minded people. I look forward to meeting up with the iGaming community in Scandinavia.”
