UK National Lottery operator Camelot has updated its customers informing them that it has issued a release fixing its Apple iOS app, following nearly a month-long downturn.

Issuing an ‘important player message’ the lottery operator further promised that it would fix its Android app which was being tested and would be ’coming out soon’.

In October Camelot pulled its mobile apps after a number of customers reported that both manual-entry and QR ticket checking functionalities were wrongly informing players with incorrect messages regarding winning tickets.

The operator had been criticized by the UK media for neglecting its customer complaints relating to its faulty apps.

The criticism will have pained Camelot leadership and management who have publicly emphasized on improving the firm’s mobile and digital verticals.

The operator urged customers with queries or concerns regarding previous tickets purchased via its mobile apps to contact its player services department at [email protected]
