Unibet gears up for Poker 2.0 client release

Stockholm-listed European sports betting operator Unibet is preparing for the launch of its brand new poker client ‘Unibet Poker 2.0’ which is expected to be launched on 1 December.

The operator stated that the release would mark the ‘second generation’ for its in-house developed poker room which it first launched in 2014. The launch of ‘Unibet Poker 2.0’ will be made available throughout all markets and all Unibet Poker verticals (desktop, mobile and tablet).

Unibet development detailed that the new client would place user engagement at the forefront of its poker vertical.

The poker room will be enhanced with visible software features such as a new hand replayer, fully integrated missions and loyalty scheme, improved graphics and multi-tabling options on mobile and tablet, to non-visible improvements to the back-end functionality and overall stability of the client.

Commenting on the release Andrew West, Unibet’s Head of Poker, said “Unibet Poker 2.0 was built from the ground up and designed to provide us with a foundation upon which we can seamlessly add in-game features to continuously provide the best experience possible for all of our players.”

Celebrating the launch, Unibet Poker are also running their biggest ever promotion – ‘Around the World’; – which will award over €250,000 in prizes, including the major prize of a 28-day trip for two, flying business class, to visit the Seven Wonders of the World.
