Sports fans in the United States are betting on fantasy sports in growing numbers and it is entirely legal to do so thanks to some loop holes in online gambling regulations.
If you are not familiar with fantasy sports in its non-betting form, participants choose a team from real players in the sport of choice and they score points based on the real-life performances of the players chosen. Fantasy sports competitions are normally run throughout an entire season but now websites are being created that offer fast pay-outs meaning that each game can result in a win of cold, hard cash.
So far, betting on fantasy sports in the United States is a $800 million industry. Right now there are several websites managing betting on fantasy sports. The president of the Fantasy Sports Trade Assoc. has recently stated that nearly 7 million people in the U.S. and Canada are not taking part in betting on fantasy sports.
