Medusa II is the sequel to the popular Medusa slot produced both by NextGen Gaming. This version has 5 reels and 243 ways to win and again is based on the character from Greek mythology – she is known as having living snakes as hair!
Playable from 25p to £50 a spin, the graphics and animations are better than the original but they aren’t as sharp as some of the newer slots released (e.g. by WMS Gaming). In some ways Medusa II still has its original charm which I quite like. In the base game, any 2, 3, 4 or 5 adjacent reels can lock and spin together showing the same symbol. This can lead to big wins!
There’s the Turned to Stone Stacked Wilds feature where a soldier may appear in the base game on a reel and attack Medusa herself. Medusa’s gaze can turn the solder to stone giving you a stack of wilds.
