Nektan appoints Patrick Sinclair as new CFO

London AIM-listed mobile gambling specialist Nektan Plc has confirmed the appointment of Patrick Sinclair as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with immediate effect.

Sinclair joins Nektan from international property developer Sweett Group Plc, where he served as CFO and in further senior management roles for the developer between 2012-2016.

In addition to overseeing Nektan’s day-to-day financial operations, Sinclair has further been appointed onto the firm’s board, advising Nektan governance on key strategic initiatives.

Sinclair’s appointment follows a corporate restructure undertaken by Nektan in 2016, which saw the company raise £1.75 million in operating capital following the sale of three mobile gaming brands to Buckingham HMB.

Further corporate restructures of Nektan, saw the mobile gaming firm announced igaming industry veteran Leigh Nissim as its new Chief Executive in May 2016.

In its latest trading update in which Nektan reported a net revenue to £5.8 million up from £500,000 for full-year 2015. Outlining its future growth strategy,  the operator stated that it would seek to grow its services in European and US markets for 2017.
