Anna Shahbazyan, BetConstruct
Anna Shahbazyan, BetConstruct’s Regional Director for Latin America, will be at next week’s ICE Totally Gaming conference in London (7-9 February).
During a quick pre-ICE chat with SBC, she spoke about the ‘great opportunity’ to meet partners face to face, and likened the conference to a ‘family reunion’ where regional offices come together to meet as a BetConstruct family.
SBC: How do you prepare for ICE?
AS: Well, we are planning everything for the whole year. It is very important for us to be there and show every product and every creative thought we were working on during the year. We want to share with people the ideas and vision of our company and for us it’s not only to go somewhere, show the products and get the clients.
We visit ICE to share our experience, meet new people, understand the market deeper and see other companies and at the same time show our uniqueness. It’s important for us to work hard to present something unique and be different.
SBC: How do you prepare in Latin America? Who will join you there?
AS: In Latin America, life is totally different. Once BetConstruct opened offices and appointed representatives there, the LatAm team started to understand that we are a great family. ICE is like a family reunion where regional offices are coming to meet the whole family. My colleagues from Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Peru will join us at ICE. For them it’s important to see this uniqueness and to understand with their hot hearts what BetConstruct really is.
SBC: What will you be doing at ICE 2017?
AS: During the year, you work with a lot of partners virtually. So, it’s a great opportunity to meet them face to face and be able to discuss all details and requirements regarding the plans for 2017 and understand how we can grow together. It’s crucial to organise meetings, hear people and share ideas.
SBC: What are you looking forward to at ICE 2017?
AS: For me and our company, it is very important to understand the new things, the market, meet different people and listen to their requirements, present our products and keep in touch with our peers during the year. An important point, as well, is to understand how the gaming industry is evolving. We are an international company, we want to be aware of all the innovations in gaming and present our products accordingly.
SBC: Where can we find BetConstruct at ICE?
AS: BetConstruct and I will be at Stand S1-350. We’ll be there during the whole day and all interested people will be able to meet me in person. It is also easy to book a meeting at our website.
SBC: Favourite ICE memory?
AS: Every year is special. However, I’d highlight last year. It was just amazing. Everyone was amazed with our concept – Garden of Freedom. Visitors were passing by and touching the trees and bushes to understand if they are real.
SBC: Typical post-ICE activity? What are you doing right after the exhibition?
AS: Drinking and celebrating.
