UK marketing news source Campaign Live (Campaignlive.co.uk) has reported that FTSE listed bookmaker William Hill is seeking a new creative agency ahead of a planned major UK advertising and promotional drive.
The bookmaker will retain the services of Leeds and Manchester based agency Bark & Bite. However Campaign Live reports that William Hill marketing are seeking ‘extra fire power’ for the planning and execution of the nationwide multi-content advertising campaign.
William Hill marketing has sent out a handful of creative briefs to selected agencies, as the bookmaker begins to have initial meetings. Campaign Live further reports that William Hill is seeking to invite three agencies to pitch for the account.
The planned advertising campaign will replace current main creative “Take Control of Your Game” which was launched by Bark & Bite in August 2015.
William Hill’s promotional push comes as the operator launches new ‘in-house’ development and innovations, with the operator’s launch of proprietary sports betting platform ‘Trafalgar’ in November 2015.
As yet, William Hill marketing has made no comment on its creative agency search.
