The Guests took charge at the top of the Tipster Challenge leaderboard on a memorable day at the Cheltenham Festival.
Ciaran O’Brien, Communications Director at William Hill ended the day with an incredible 16.5 points after race wins for Diego Du Charmil (13/2), Ballyandy (5/1) and an emotional Nico de Boinville on Sprinter Sacre (5/1).
For the first time, bettingexpert have fallen more than 10 points behind in 3rd place. Stephen Harris did manage a nice 8/1 win on Blaklion, but failed to find a winner in the final five races.
Unfortunately, it was a winless day of action for 4th placed Timeform, whilst pre-Cheltenham leaders SBC did manage to hold on to 2nd spot as a result of the victory for Diego Du Charmil in the 4:50.

- We will be taking on bettingexpert, Timeform and a rotation of guest tipsters every week, with the focus on a specific race meet every Wednesday.
- Throughout the year we will keep record of points won each week, points won on average and points won overall for each tipster.
- The guest tipsters will compete as one team, with their points added together as one leaderboard entry.
- The new tips will be published on Wednesday ahead of the race meet, and the results will be available from Thursday morning.
- For the purpose of the competition, we will assume that all selections are backed with 1 point.
- Lost tips will count as 0 and won bets will be added to the leaderboard at SP value.
- For example, if bettingexpert backs a winning horse at 8/1, they will get 8 points.
