Oprah Winfrey is wrapping up twenty five incredible years of daytime TV this season. The Oprah Winfrey show is soon to be a part of American television history and the talk show queen has promised her viewers that the last season will be one that very few people will forget.

So far she has kept her promise as every show so far has featured big stars and people of interest. She just had former U.S. prez George W. Bush on the show. Bush discussed his soon-to-be released new book that includes memoirs of his days in the White House. Just yesterday Oprah was at the home of the late Michael Jackson’s mother where she interviewed Michael’s three children. That episode is sure to draw millions of curious viewers when it airs on Monday.

John Travolta was on the premiere of the farewell season. The two danced onto the stage and John charmed the audience in his usual manner. Paul Simon, one of Oprah’s favorite singers made a surprise appearance on the show in mid October. Simon sang “25 Years” for Oprah which is a song he penned himself.

The Oprah Winfrey Show has remained the number one talk show for twenty-three consecutive seasons in the U.S., winning every sweep since it debuted in 1986. With the show winding down, it does lead one to wonder if American TV will every be the same again.
