NYX Gaming Group reports that it has signed a letter of intent to become main content and digital gaming platform supplier for the merged entity of Dutch state lottery operators Nederlandse Staatsloterij and De Lotto.

The Toronto listed online gambling services supplier is set to launch its provisions for Nederlandse Staatsloterij and De Lotto, once the Netherlands government secures its national gambling framework.

The Dutch lottery entity will be supplied with NYX interactive gaming content and a fully integrated player management system.

NYX Gaming declared that it started evaluating the potential content deal last December, when De Nederlandse Staatsloterij, or else known as the Dutch State Lottery, and De Lotto were granted the green light to merge their operations.

The merger of the two lottery operators would create a new €1-billion (£750 million) entity.

NYX Gaming Group CEO, Matt Davey commented  on the agreement

“It’s a privilege to be working with de Nederlandse Staatsloterij / De Lotto to bring NYX’s OPS platform and our market leading content to their soon to be merged business. Global revenue forecasts for the lottery industry recently topped €260bn. As one of the few gaming content and platform providers with World Lottery Association Membership, we are well positioned to work in partnership with national lotteries across the globe.”
