Psycho promotes Betfred’s new Voice Bet app

Former England international and star of Euro 96 Stuart Pearce is the face, or rather the voice, of Betfred’s latest advert to promote its new app ahead of the Euros. BetfredVoiceBet

The innovative app, which is available on both iOS and android, was developed in-house and allows customers to place their bets using voice recognition technology.

The Betfred Voice Bet app will be launched on Saturday the 4th June ready for the Euros. As part of the build up the advert which stars Pearce and plays on his trademark aggression and direct nature.

Pearce said of the shoot: “It’s been good fun making a series of adverts for Betfred and I hope I’m shouting England to glory at the Euros this summer. The Championship looks wide open to me and the Three Lions are definitely in the mix.”

Pearce joined the Betfred team as brand ambassador last month. The advert also seeks to highlight the advanced capabilities of the app with Pearce stating “Change to a pony” and the Voice Bet app understanding and altering his bet accordingly.

The ad, which is also available on Betfred TV and Video on Demand, can be seen here:

Discussing the app itself Betfred’s Chief Executive John Haddock said: “The Voice Bet APP has been specifically designed for the Euros and although all pre-match and tournament bets are available it is absolutely ideal for in-play.”

He added: “It’s been developed by our in-house innovation team and they have worked to understand potential customers with the Voice Bet app even recognising betting jargon.”
