Targeting growth in German-speaking nations, digital sports content media provider Perform Group (Perform) has announced the launch of its DAZN service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

A live sports streaming network, DAZN will offer German language sports streams of Premier League, La Liga (Spain), Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1 (France) matches, plus Bundesliga highlights for regional customers paying €9.99 non-fixed monthly subscriptions.

The DAZN network will further stream popular sports content including NBA, NHL, Motorsports, Boxing and Ice Hockey, in what Perform promises to be the most comprehensive streaming service for German sports fans.

DAZN syndicated content will be output via multi-channel verticals including mobile, tablet, Smart TV and games consoles. Perform further announced that all its streams would feature HD and Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 capabilities.

Simon Denyer CEO of Perform Group was pleased to release the service into German-speaking territories declaring: “At DAZN, we put fans first and in control. German sports fans can choose to watch the sport they love whenever and wherever they like, with no long-term fixed contract and no advertising, for just €9.99.”

“By joining DAZN, fans will enjoy an unparalleled streaming experience, with more live sport available than any service before. Incredible moments in sport happen every day, not just during the major events.”

“We won’t make the broadcasting choices for you,” Denyer, continued. “As a subscriber you’ll have the freedom to set your own sporting agenda. We’re delivering something very different.”
