SIS creates Director of Software Engineering role for Mike Jones

SIS has appointed Mike Jones in a newly created role for its senior leadership team. Following a successful 6-month interim period starting in February 2016, he has become the Director of Software Engineering for the company.

Based at SIS’ headquarters in Milton Keynes, Jones will be working with SIS teams in London and Salford to drive a transformation in the way that SIS produces its software. His career in software development stretches back over more than 30 years, and includes work with major brands such as London Underground, Barclays, Logica, ABB, Alstom and Sony.

Gary Smith, SIS Chief Executive, welcomed Jones to the company and shared his excitement over his many years of experience, and what he can bring to the SIS product: “Mike’s wealth of experience within software will be invaluable at an exciting time for the company when SIS is rolling out a number of innovative products to both the retail and online betting markets.”
