Betsson seeks new CFO as Fredrik Rüdén departs this August

Stockholm-listed European betting & igaming group Betsson AB has confirmed the upcoming departure of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Fredrik Rüdén, set for August of this year.

A long-term Betsson AB executive team leader, Rüdén has served as corporate CFO since 2008 leading the firm’s financial strategy, auditing departments and controllership duties.

Updating investors, Betsson Chief Executive Ulrik Bengtsson confirmed Rüdén’s departure month, and further stated that the company had begun its executive search for Rüdén’s replacement.

Bengtsson and Betsson governance thanked Rüdén for his significant contribution to the firm’s growth, guiding financial strategy and operations  through a number of key corporate acquisitions and financing rounds.

“Fredrik has contributed much to Betsson’s success during the nine years he has served as the company’s CFO.
