GVC selects BBH Sport as creative lead for Bwin brand

GVC Holdings’ European online betting subsidiary Bwin has selected international sports marketing agency BBH Sport as its lead creative agency following a competitive pitch supported by advertising consultancy Oystercatchers.

BBH Sport, part of the wider Bartle Bogle Hegarty Group is one of the fastest growing specialised agencies concentrating on creating high impact sports advertising campaigns. The agency has acted as creative lead for Samsung, Adidas and the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Bwin is the first sports betting brand to be managed by BBH Sport, its founding agency BBH has prior industry experience having headed creative for Ladbrokes UK. Commenting on the account Ewan Paterson Founding Partner of BBH Sport stated

The agency will be tasked with forming Bwin’s new European creative direction, as the bookmaker looks to engage audiences in the saturated online betting market.
