Coingaming Group appoints Richard Walsh as new MD

Updating the market, Bitcoin gaming operator The Coingaming Group has appointed ex-William Hill executive Richard Walsh as its new managing director.

An industry veteran, Walsh spent more than 20 years at William Hill in a variety of senior management positions, and has relocated to the Coingaming Group’s headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia.

As the firm’s new MD Walsh will oversee operations and strategy for Coingaming brands BitCasino.io and Sportsbet.io, furthermore he will lead the launch of an upcoming eSports-focused Bitcoin gaming brand.

Reporting directly to CEO Tim Heath, Walsh becomes the third major industry appointment for the Coingaming Group, following Christopher Uren’s appointment as Director of Sportsbook and Dominic Bourke as Director of Casino.
