Genius Sports betting subsidiary technology Betgenius, continues to expand its industry footprint confirming that it has secured an agreement with Spanish legacy gambling operator Grupo Codere which will see it become the lead provider of pre-match and in-play trading provisions.
Securing partnership terms, Betgenius will act as preferred provider of Codere trading markets for both its retail and online betting assets. The long-term deal will see Betgenius integrate its trading portfolio across Codere Spain, Italy and LATAM markets.
Updating investors, Codere management detailed that Betgenius provisions were needed in order to provider optimal pricing and products for its international consumer base. Peter Lucas, Trading Director at Codere, commented on the agreement:
“As we grow our presence in regulated markets across the world, we are delighted to secure a long-term relationship with Betgenius to expand our in-play and pre- match trading capabilities. Betgenius’ reliable and wide-ranging service was the obvious choice to help us offer the best experience possible to customers.”
Betgenius continues its stong commercial momentum to 2017, in which the company has been selected online sportsbook platform provider for Greece’s OPAP and has further won a marketing services contracts for Sky Bet Italia.
