Veikkaus Finland selects Kiron Interactive as lead Virtual Sports supplier

Recently enlarged Finnish state-owned betting operator Veikkaus has selected Kiron Interactive to be its lead virtual sports content provider.

Updating the market, Kiron Interactive detailed that it would initially supply 17 virtual sports games to Veikkaus retail network. The games inventory will include popular Nordic content Hockey Shots and Speed Skating.

Kiron was chosen by the government-owned Veikkaus, which has an exclusive betting licence on lotteries and sports betting in Finland, following a public tender process.

Steven Spartinos, CEO of Kiron Interactive, said: “We are always looking to expand our operations in regulated markets, and that’s exactly what we have done once again with Veikkaus.

“This deal marks yet another step forward for Kiron Interactive and we are very eager to get started as we know our varied portfolio of games will prove popular in Finland – especially our winter titles.”
