Money talks – Sun Bets backs Sharja Bridge for Haydock success

Tim Reynolds, PR Manager at Sun Bets, said that “money talks” after promoting the chances of Sharja Bridge in today’s Tipster Challenge at Haydock.

However, Reynolds stopped short of nominating the Roger Varian-trained horse as his Nap of the Day, instead opting for Dance Diva, a big favourite in the second race of the day (2:30).

This was matched by Stephen Harris, the horse racing guru for bettingexpert, who leads the Betting Gods sponsored competition with a 10.56-point average after five weeks of action.

bettingexpert: Dukes Girl

Stepped forward when second at Thirsk last time and could improve again for this longer trip.

Sun Bets: Ottonian

Won convincingly at Thirsk on its racecourse debut despite running very green. Should come on for that run and prove very hard to beat.

bettingexpert: Dance Diva (Nap of the Day)

Landed hefty cash on her debut at Redcar despite doing plenty wrong in the run, and she can defy a penalty here with huge improvement certain.

Sun Bets: Dance Diva (Nap of the Day)

Won at Redcar last time out on its racecourse debut. Should come on for that effort and be able to overcome a 4lb penalty.

bettingexpert: Original Choice

Made an impressive winning handicap/seasonal debut at Wolverhampton and had excuses when beaten at Ascot.

Sun Bets: Makkaar

Very disappointing last time out at Ayr, but may have needed that run to blow away the cobwebs after a lengthy lay-off. Jockey/trainer have a 19.77% strike-rate when teaming up together and is taken reproduce the form when winning a hot Newmarket maiden in October last year.

bettingexpert: Mutarabby

Sets a clear standard on form and the first time cheekpieces can eek out some improvement to get off the mark.

Sun Bets: Sharja Bridge

Money talks! Cost 500,000 guineas as a yearling. Full-brother to a Group 1 winner and half-brother to multiple other Group winners so has to be taken with serious consideration.

bettingexpert: Brogan

Ran too badly to be true last time and perhaps bounced on her second run back after a break. A CD win in October is solid form and a return to that level would make her very dangerous with Dascombe in the winners.

Sun Bets: Vaulted

Jockey/trainer have a 25% strike-rate at Haydock plus it ran a very encouraging race last time out at Musselburgh when tackling this distance for the first time. Should come on for that experience and make its presence felt.

bettingexpert: Sindarban

Did not handle Epsom last time but was a big eyecatcher first time up and the booking of Spencer catches the eye.

Sun Bets: Mutadaffeq

Arrives in great form and the trainer/jockey have excellent records at this course so is fancied to complete the hat-trick.

bettingexpert: Festival Of Ages

Bred to be useful and can make a winning debut if the market vibes are strong later on.

Sun Bets: Assiduous

Mark Johnson does well with his debutantes and it has some useful pedigree on its side. Should produce a bold showing at a decent price.
