Arena Racing promotes Jon Pullin to Racing Director

UK racecourse operating firm Arena Racing Company (ARC) has confirmed the appointment of Jon Pullin as its new Racing Director.

Pullin is promoted from within the firm, having previously held the title of Racing Operations Director, he takes over the ARC executive position from Stephen Higgins who will depart the firm to join the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

A racing veteran, Pullin has been involved in racecourse management for a number of years, having served as Managing Director of Royal Windsor racetrack.

Within ARC operations, Pullin has been a key stakeholder across multiple courses acting as lead Clerk. Furthermore, he has managed day-to-day operations of ARC’s Racing Department.

Chief Executive of ARC, Martin Cruddace, commented on the promotion of Pullin: “Jon has proved himself and invaluable member of the team and I am really pleased to appoint him asARC’s Racing Director. He has proved he has the knowledge and skills needed to represent ARC during industry discussions and to make a great success of the role.”
