This week marks the penultimate week of Tipster Challenge action in its current format, before we revamp the horse-racing based competition. Can Value Racing Tips hold on to the Guest’s lead at the top of the leaderboard?
Having produced a profit of £4,433.70 since 1st November 2013, Value Racing Tips has earned its spot on the Betting Gods network of tipsters, producing an average monthly profit of £126.68.
From Wednesday 5th October until March 2017, we will be focusing on jump race meets. The leaderboard will be sorted according to both total points won and number of races won. Each Guest will be shown individually, with totals from Stephen Harris of bettingexpert and Timeform shown as a weekly average.

SBC News: Monarchs Glen
Trained by John Gosden, and a half-brother of three past winners, Monarchs Glen should go close.
bettingexpert: Monarchs Glen
Bred for the game and can make a winning debut.
Timeform: Monarchs Glen
Probably not a deep maiden for the track, so the Frankel newcomer may well be up to the task on debut for top connections.
Value Racing Tips: Celestial Spheres
Trip looks ideal; has the best form in the book and still looked green two runs ago, so still more improvement with the first time fitting of headgear.

SBC News: Sea Shack
Placed twice in three starts, and improving over this distance.
bettingexpert: Hidden Stash
Looked one to follow when getting off the mark on his second career start, and can get back on track here after not handling Chepstow last time.
Timeform: Sea Shack
Bumped into a subsequent winner at Windsor last month, and though he hasn’t achieved as much in form terms as Admiralty Arch, his profile is a more compelling one.
Value Racing Tips: Sea Shack
Came up against a decent horse last time out, but step up in trip should bring more improvement. Admiralty Arch sets a good standard but looks vulnerable.

SBC News: Ocean Ready
Won on his last two starts at Brighton and Salisbury.
bettingexpert: Panko
Has progressed up the weights all summer and seems sure to give his running again with ideal conditions.
Timeform: Ocean Ready
Wasn’t overly impressive when following up at Brighton last month and is 6lb higher now, but in truth he is just the type to stay ahead of the assessor, and this extra 1f should be right up his street.
Value Racing Tips: Ocean Ready
Looks to be a typical Prescott horse. Getting better and better and handled Brighton last time, so no fears on the undulations.

SBC News: Mount Logan
Three wins from four at Goodwood, and extremely impressive at Doncaster two weeks ago.
bettingexpert: Mount Logan
Hails from the in-form Varian stable and impressed when winning readily at Doncaster.
Timeform: Mount Logan
Looked better than ever when resuming winning ways at Doncaster 2 weeks ago, and can record his second listed success this season.
Value Racing Tips: Sky Hunter
Looks to have been found a good opportunity here, even though Mount Logan destroyed the opposition last time. Sky Hunter is in a different class to that field.

SBC News: Daphne
Improving with headgear, and looks set to continue his good run of form.
bettingexpert: Renfrew Street
Sunk in the softened ground last time, but looks well overpriced if bouncing back to form on his preferred drying surface.
Timeform: Daphne
Responded well to this headgear when runner-up at Doncaster last time, and she may prove difficult to pass back over this longer trip.
Value Racing Tips: Daphne
Showed improved form with headgear over shorter distance last time out. This step back up in trip should be ideal.

SBC News: Symposium
From the Haggas yard, and can build on recent performance at Brighton.
bettingexpert: Symposium
Hails from the in-form Haggas yard, and can supplement a recent win from a slightly higher mark.
Timeform: Pettochside
Has been in excellent form so far this season and should go well again back at the scene of his last success.
Value Racing Tips: Gorokai
3-year-olds have a good record in this race, and the step back up in trip should be ideal. Booking of Jim Crowley catches the eye.

SBC News: Dishy Guru
Only won on one occasion since, but did land a victory in this race two years ago.
bettingexpert: Archie Stevens
Has plenty of pace and might just be able to dominate from the stalls in a race lacking obvious frontrunners.
Timeform: Costa Filey
Went close off only 1lb lower at Chelmsford 3 weeks ago, and gets the vote for his in-form yard.
Value Racing Tips: Dishy Guru
Won this race two years ago off handicap mark of 65. Now off 62 with visor fitted for first time; the booking of top apprentice Tom Marquand should see a good display.
