FDJ France launches dedicated eSports hub with Sportradar

France state-owned gambling operator, Française des Jeux (FDJ) has expanded its services and profile within the burgeoning eSports market, by launching a dedicated ‘digital esports betting hub’ in partnership with leading sports data supplier Sportradar.

Updating stakeholders, FDJ details that its eSports hub will be attached to flagship betting brand ParionsSport (ParionsSport.fdj.fr) portal.

Sports data supplier Sportradar will power the hub with a range of dedicated statistics, content and data to engage eSports focused consumers.

Jean-Francis Beaulieu, Business Unit Director of ParionsSport, said: “Sportradar’s reputation in the esports sector is impossible to ignore, they will bring us the content for this free esports betting offering and will undoubtedly support our mission to speak to a population of young adults with the principles of image and recruitment.”

The agreement, further sees Sportradar deliver its eSports centric API, Stats Centre, as well as its Life Cycle of Odds andLive Odds offerings across all available titles to FDJ, while Sportsbook Cloud, a gold certified partner of Betradar, will provide FDJ’s web and mobile platform.

Sportradar’s Head of esports, James Watson commented on the partnership: “We are excited to be working on ParionsSport esports offering and to help deepen the connection between a range of esports titles and these savvy fans, who are looking for interaction and insight.
