Yggdrasil Gaming takes first steps into multiplayer bingo

An expansion into the multiplayer bingo world is on the cards for Yggdrasil Gaming, with a new product announcement allowing operators to add an extra dimension to its current offerings.

Expanding on its casino solutions range, Yggdrasil’s bingo product, a mobile first, aims to offer players a “flexible and modern bingo experience” and is set to be provided across tablet and desktop platforms.

Operators utilising the product are also set to benefit from cross sell potential, with mini versions of Yggdrasil slot titles set to be built into the interface, allowing gameplay at same time as playing bingo.

Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said: “We’ve been analysing bingo for some time and have realised there’s exciting potential to innovate in what has become a relatively dormant area of the industry.

“With our in-house social and gaming expertise, we believe we can offer a fresh dimension to bingo. This can attract a new demographic of player to the market on a much lower CPA basis compared to casino, driving revenues directly and indirectly through our Boost tools and mini-slots integration.

“On launch, players will recognise industry-first features for bingo which have been adapted from the wider casino space, reinvigorating the much-loved pastime and raising the bar against other products on the market.”

Yggdrasil’s bingo product is also set to promote social interaction, with an easy-to-use, mobile optimised chat function, including a new reactions feature, creating an enjoyable and competitive environment.

A plethora of other features are also due to be provided, including network promotions, game schedule management and liquidity via networked rooms with the option for private operator games.

In addition it is also due to be complemented by Yggdrasil’s range of in-game promotional tools, known as Boost.
