TopBetta continues growth with $12 million quarterly turnover

ToddBuckingham, TopBettaTopBetta, Australia’s first fantasy wagering company, continued its growth by achieving a September quarterly turnover of $12 million and revenues of $1.2 million.

TopBetta held 1,650 tournaments during the quarter, with a total of $1.5 million paid out to tournament winners. The company was particularly pleased that its player on player product had 5,430 active users during a quarter which is traditionally the quietest of the year, and comes before the launch of the Spring Racing Carnival.

Todd Buckingham, CEO, commented: “The company has had another solid trading quarter, which was also accompanied by our busiest operational quarter to date. The business is now ready to tackle the busy Spring Racing which is in full swing, heading into the Melbourne Carnival. Again we would like to thank our shareholders for their support, as we continue to build on the fantastic base we have achieved to date.”

During the quarter, the company announced that its subsidiary, The Global Tote Limited, has been granted a Category2 (B2B) eGambling licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. The Category2 eGaming licence allows TopBetta to offer its products to international corporate bookmakers through The Global Tote Limited.

Also, during the quarter, TopBetta announced that through its subsidiary, TopBetta Pty Ltd, it has been granted a bookmakers licence in the Northern Territory by the Northern Territory Racing Commission, which allows them to continue to offer its sports and racing products.
