Colossus Bets restructures tech leadership following departure of Myles Milston CTO

Future pool betting systems provider Colossus Bets has confirmed the departure Myles Milston as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Posting an announcement on Colossus Bets Linkedin page, company Founder & CEO Bernard Marantelli detailed that Milston had left the company to launch SME venture fund Globacap (Globacap.com).

Marantelli thanked Milston for his contribution to Colossus Bets’ growth and enterprise, stating that he had been a key stakeholder in delivering successful projects and developing the firm’s technology-led talent resources.

Milston’s executive duties will be split, with Colossus Bets Head of Racing Products Paula Cara Farcas promoted to CTO, supported by Alberto Zuin as Deputy CTO and Intelligence Officer.

In his statement, Marantelli was pleased to have announced the internal promotions of Farcas and Zuin as Milston’s executive replacement, detailing that they were a testament to the firm’s capabilities for developing in-house talent.

“Myles Milston legacy to us is a truly innovative technology platform and an extremely talented and dedicated technology team, so I am especially proud to announce that Myles will be succeeded by 2 of our own: Paula Cara Farcas, as CTO and Alberto Zuin, as Deputy CTO and CIO.” Marantelli detailed

“Both have been prominent architects of our revolutionary technology, Paula leading our global integrations and Alberto on system infrastructure and security, and are thus perfectly placed to take Colossus to the next level.”

Paula Cara Farcas commented on taking over Colossus Bets CTO duties; “I have had the pleasure to lead our partner integrations and experience Colossus’ phenomenal growth from 3 partners to over 50 in just 3 years. As our global footprint and product range continue to grow, I am proud to be stepping into this new role and look forward to the challenges ahead, trusting in our technology team to meet them head-on.”

Alberto, Deputy CTO and CIO echoed Marantelli’s support: “I am really excited to be at the helm of infrastructure and security at Colossus, taking on the challenge to scale a high-growth, globally-linked product in a way that best addresses our clients’ needs and meets strict regulatory requirements. I am also delighted to be supported in this challenge by a highly skilled team that constantly strive to deliver fast, reliable and flexible solutions.”
