Pensioner Says Husband Threw Out 113 GPB Winning Lottery Ticket

A woman in her 70s has come forward to say that she bought the winning 113 GPB Euromillions ticket but that her husband threw it in the trash. Speculation has run rampant over the past twelve months over who had the lucky ticket and why they never came forward.

There were many claims made from people all across Britain who said they had the ticket, but these acclamations were false. This woman who claims she deserves the prize revealed that she thinks she has won after reading in the newspaper that the ticket was purchased in her area. She said she had the numbers written down on a pad of paper and was shocked when she realized that the winning numbers matched those she had jotted down. She said she told her husband to get the ticket to double check it and that is when he told her that the had thrown it away.

British national lottery operator Camelot is investigating her claim and says it will confirm which store in Coventry the winning ticket was purchased from. But, unless the woman can come up with the ticket, she of course cannot claim the millions.
