Sky Vegas drops a ‘golden’ Grand National ticket in Liverpool

GPSSky Vegas is taking to the air in order to promote its brand in association with this week’s Grand National. The online gaming firm is using a drone to drop a ‘Golden Ticket’ somewhere in Liverpool in a promotion that could net the winner £10k.

Bosses at online casino Sky Vegas have attached a winning Grand National ticket to a drone and released it from the skies above Liverpool – recently revealed as the luckiest city in the UK.

The ticket’s whereabouts is being tracked by GPS technology and has landed in a secret location in the Liverpool area.

Almost half of people in Liverpool have been lucky enough to find a fiver on the street, but this ticket promises the lucky finder a whole lot more…

The ticket guarantees the equivalent pay-out of a £50 bet on the winning horse at the Grand National this Saturday, meaning that if current long-shot Tour Des Champs or any other 200-1 runner takes the title, the finder of the ‘golden ticket’ will win a staggering £10,000.

Sky Vegas is excited for an unpredictable race, especially after Willie Mullins trained runners proved a costly Cheltenham for the bookies. His 80-1 shot Ballycasey is running in the National and if it places first, which is looking increasingly likely, the winner of the Golden Ticket will be in for a four-figure pay out.

For the ticket to be valid, it MUST be found before the race itself on Saturday – so get searching!

Liverpool was recently named the UK’s luckiest city, with 35% of residents claiming to have had luck on their side in the past and 57% of people in the city believing they are luckier than most, so Sky Vegas decided to put the luck of the Liverpudlians to the test and see if anyone can find the ticket in time.

The ticket has been released to support the Sky Vegas Millions campaign. The company is giving away over £3 Million in cash during a three-month period, as players earn tickets as they play and are then entered into daily and weekly cash draws. Every day players could win a £10,000 top prize, with a weekly £25,000 Golden Jackpot.

Clues to the ticket’s whereabouts are being shared on SkyVegas’ social channels so follow @SkyVegas for your best chance of coming up trumps.

Daniele Phillips at Sky Vegas, said: “We’re really excited to see if someone can find the ticket before Saturday – it really is a race against time!

“Liverpool is not only home to the Grand National, but has also been revealed as the UK’s luckiest city making it the perfect place to release a winning ticket. We hoping ‘Liverpool luck’ will be on someone’s side this week.”
