The Responsible Gaming Council (RGC) has launched RG Check-Internet, an accreditation programme that offers gaming websites the opportunity of an independent assessment of the quality of their responsible gambling safeguards.

The programme is based on the organisation’s Responsible Gambling Standards, which provide objective and independent targets for the content, quality and breadth of responsible gambling initiatives delivered by online operators.

RG Check-Internet is an adapted version of the RG Check-Venue programme, which has accredited a total of 60 venues since its launch in 2011.

PricewaterhouseCoopers and members of its network will administer the new programme internationally.

Financial accreditation decisions will remain with the RGC.
