The Weyland-Yutani corporation logo is the Wild, plus you’ve got more than harsh language at your disposal – every time you win the multiplier meter at the top of the reels fills up according to how many symbols were in your winning combo. When this is full it triggers the next phase in which you take then role of a marine stalking a dark corridor, blasting the aliens with his pulse rifle after every spin. This is more than just another bug hunt though as ammunition is limited and must be scavenged from the bodies of your dead comrades – run out and it’s game over, man).
If you’re fortunate enough to make it to the end of this section alive then you enter the ghastly Queen’s hive, where two extra reels now equate to your grenade strength and grenade multiplier. You’ll have 5 spins where each play lobs a grenade at the hive, plus you can open fire with your gun – destroy the nest and its matriarch before you run out of ammo and the prize is yours!
