Gaming and esports company Unikrn has today announced that over 30 million Unikoins, the virtual tokens on its platform, have been used to wager on esports matches and tournaments worldwide.

Never one to miss out on a reason to celebrate, Unikrn is introducing Connekt, a fun, new way for users to earn more of these Unikoins by playing three of today’s most popular titles; League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. In addition to this the firm is also launching a new feature called Auctions, these are short timeframes during the day in which users can bid on surprise prizes from key Unikrn product partners.
A complement to other ways in which users can earn Unikoins, Connekt allows users to earn Unikoins every time they play (20 for a win, 5 for a loss) and use their winnings to bet on major esports tournaments and win prizes on Unikrn.com. To enter a raffle, users visit the Unikrn marketplace, pick a prize they’d like to win, and deposit the amount of Unikoins they are willing to risk for that prize. A drawing for the raffle is conducted on Unikrn.com, with one to three prizes won each day. Prizes include hardware, accessories and digital items such as League of Legends Riot Points and the latest range of CS:GO in-game skins.
Another way for users to win prizes on Unikrn.com is via Unikrn Auctions. Auctions give users a way to spend their Unikoins and have a chance to win a prize without risking losing their Unikoins – if they lose the auction, they get their Unikoins back! These auctions occur in short timeframes during which users can bid Unikoins on the auction and engage with other users via the live chat function on the site. The largest raffle to date attracted a pot of over 300,000 Unikoins for a Logitech G633 Headset, with new prizes being added to the Marketplace every week.
