Norsk Tipping appoints Asne Havnelid as new Chief Executive

Screen Shot 2016-06-29 at 10.52.05Norway state-owned gambling operator Norsk Tipping has confirmed the appointment of Asne Havnelid as its new Chief Executive replacing Torbjørn Almlid who announced his departure in March.

Havnelid takes over leadership of Norsk Tipping, having held the position of Secretary General for the Norwegian Red Cross for the past five years.

Norsk Tipping governance stated that Havenelid would take over full responsibilities of CEO initiatives at the end of the year following a consultation period under Torbjørn Almlid.

Hiring Havnelid , Norsk Tipping governance detailed to Norwegian news sources that they had found the best business executive for its leadership. Pointing that Havenelid possessed a firm background in commercial management as well as working with governmental organisations.
