EEGaming: Tell us a bit about the exhibition: when, where, and what can we expect to see there.
Anton Vlad: The 10th edition of Entertainment Arena Expo will be held during 5-7 September 2016 at Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest. The exhibition is addressed to the casino and betting industry, joining manufacturers and distributors of slot machines, roulettes, VLTs, AWPs, betting systems, online games, gaming hall furniture, as well as related services to this industry.
EEGaming: How can visitors or any other interested people join this expo?
Anton Vlad: Visitors can register on the exhibition’s website, www.earena.ro or directly on site when arriving at the exhibition. All details regarding the access, parking and information about the exhibitors can also be found on the exhibition’s website previously mentioned.
EEGaming: We’ve seen that you had a lot of good feedback. But tell us about how you’ve got here. Was it hard?
Anton Vlad: It wasn’t an easy road. Along time we faced a wide range of challenges, from elements related to the organizing infrastructure to legislation amendments. It all has been built step by step over the years, adding up to this moment when the exhibition can be considered the leading event of Eastern Europe.
EEGaming: We heard there’s going to be a lot of exhibitors! Where are they coming from? Can you tell us a little about them?
Anton Vlad: The exhibitors are both from Romania, and outer Romania, being interested in the local market but also in the foreign visitors present at the exhibition in Bucharest. This year the exhibiting area has been extended to 7500 sqm, which represents a 34% growth from last year of the raw exhibiting space. Furthermore it can be seen a recurrence of foreign exhibitors who have previously tested the Romanian market. The return is generated by the favorable changes made here, as well as by the fact that Entertainment Arena Expo draws an important number of visitors from the neighboring countries.
EEGaming: What is the “mission” so to say, of EAE? What about your expectations?
Anton Vlad: We expect the 10th edition of EAE to exceed the numbers from the last year’s edition. And all cues are pointing in that direction, to this is contributing the disambiguation of some legislative aspects that held back in stand-by certain companies.
EEGaming: When would you like to have the next expo?
Anton Vlad: The exhibition in 2017 will be held during 4-6 September in the same location as this year.
EEGaming: A quick side-question: how do you see this market developing now in Romania? Which way is it going?
Anton Vlad: The gambling market in Romania is an active and a balanced market, being on a continuous development trend. In my opinion, we have the best market in Central and Eastern Europe.
About Entertainment Arena Expo
