Coral launches in-house developed sportsbook platform

Coral has today announced the launch of its ‘in-house’ developed sportsbook platform, centralising its mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

The bookmaker informed the market, that its new platform had been developed by a new product development team with the aim of delivering a ‘smoother customer experience’.

Utilising the latest digital and cloud infrastructure technologies, the bookmaker stated that Coral sports betting web and mobile properties would be simplified engaging players with a ‘slicker product’.

Moving its sportsbook product in-house Coral moves from Mobenga Playtech sports betting solution services.

Releasing its new platform Coral Management, stated that the company would gain a streamlined development pipeline, with the further group benefits of enhanced player reporting, analytics and improved tracking combined with an optimised player journey.

In its latest quarter, Coral sports betting has migrated all customers and delivered a host of new features including football visualisations, football match results, lottery bets and significant improvements in the overall betting experience.

Commenting on the release Keith O’Loughlin, Sportsbook Director said,

“Creating our own technology platform gives us the ability to significantly accelerate our product innovation and it also gives us the flexibility to deliver a richer customer experience.

“We have seen strong growth in our Sportsbook over the past quarter, with 80% of stakes coming from mobile. Our Sportsbook revenue was up by 37% to £19.4m.  This demonstrates that with market-leading technology and innovative content and features, significant growth can be achieved.”
