The EPT Malta kicked off with the €10,000 High Roller event and German Dietrich Fast was able to win for €174,600.
The 31-years old Dietrich Fast who finished day 1 and day 2 as the chipleader, managed to go all the way and beat a field of a total of 48 entries (with 12 re-entries).
The German who also went deep in the World Series of Poker Main Event this year, finishing in 55th place, managed to beat the relatively unknown Russian player Viacheslav Buldygin. The Russian’s biggest and only cash was at the EPT Barcelona €25,000 High Roller in 16th place. For finishing runner-up in this event he scored a cash of €126,300.
