Travel to SKULL ISLAND where KONG battles the monstrous Beasts with which he shares his home. Giant Dinosaurs, Snakes and Insects are depicted alongside Kong in the symbols, and also appear in the Features and Win Celebrations. The Game’s human perspective is provided by Anne Darrow – the lovely actress who is kidnapped by the island’s inhabitants and sacrificed to Kong during the “King of Skull Island Free Games” Feature. Anne’s peril adds a sense of scale and urgency to our adventure with the furious Kong. NextGen has sought to create a radically new King Kong gaming experience that blends exciting new features with a faithful recapturing of some of the story’s most thrilling scenes.
DESIGN INSPIRATION
NextGen has been working with legendary brands from way back in our early days. Our success with the original King Kong title and our tight relationship with creator Joe DeVito gave us the inspiration and opportunity to bring to life a Kong sequel that we felt would do justice to the brand and improve on the first. What’s the point otherwise? Thus a 10-year long legacy is revisited with a new story; King Kong refreshed for a 2018 release. Taking players back to where it all began – Skull Island, where battles are not fought with men but with beasts. For NextGen an epic opportunity to create an action packed, feature rich blockbuster supported by epic original visuals.
King Kong Fury is a five reel slot with four rows and fifty fixed paylines; a slim, vine-covered stone frame borders those reels which float against a backdrop showing the lofty mountains and brooding weather of this striking location.
Five resident dinosaurs represent the high value symbols and these include a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, a scary snake, a flying thing with lots of tooth and some sort of hideous mosquito thing; 9, 10, J, Q, K and A make up the lower values.
King Kong is of course wild, he appears on reels two, three and four and he will replace all others to help form winning combinations except for the girl bonus symbol.

This is triggered by landing two of the girl bonus symbols anywhere on reels one and five; as you can see from the video above you’ll be asked to press the ‘Spin’ button and both pillars either side of the girl will spin – the numbers revealed will be multiplied together for the total number of spins awarded up to a maximum of 100.
More spins can be won during this feature and you may also get to experience the Raging Respins in which a full stack of wilds on a reel will award a respin with those wilds held in place.
