Intralot secures one-year extension of Iddaa Turkey contract

Athens-listed gambling and lottery systems provider Intralot SPA has confirmed that its Turkish subsidiary INTELTEK will continue to act as lead ‘operations and technical support partner’ of Iddaa betting shop/points.

Issuing a short market update, Intralot confirms that Turkish state-owned gambling enterprise SporToto has agreed to extend its Iddaa technology agreement with INTELTEK for a further year, commencing 29 August 2019.

Both parties have agreed that the terms of service shall continue as stipulated under the requirements set in its previous 10-year contract.

Intralot’s INTELTEK division, a joint-venture partnership with leading Turkish telecoms operator Turkcell has serviced SporToto since 2003 and was further introduced the Iddaa betting in 2004.

Throughout 2017 and 2018, Intralot governance has stated that it will prioritise corporate growth across Turkey and North America.

Further its international expansion strategy, last May Intralot confirmed the appointment of former Microsoft executive  Michael Kogeler as Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) charged with driving  “business orchestration of its operations around the world”.
