Megan Carpenter – UNH LAW

The liberalisation of the US sports betting market has seen the University of New Hampshire School of Law (UNH Law) partner with global sports data, insights and software provider Sportradar, to offer the first-ever professional certificate in sports wagering and integrity.

Updating the market, Sportradar will assist UNH Law in developing its multifaceted law program covering sports betting and integrity amid the changing US and global business and regulatory landscape.

“Given the recent changes in policy around sports wagering, it’s more important than ever that lawyers, professionals and students related to the field understand the regulatory and business environment,” said Megan Carpenter, Dean, UNH Law.

UNH Law a US Top 100 law school, will seek to deliver its wagering and integrity program by early 2019

“This certificate is part of our commitment to provide relevant, career-enhancing education to those in the legal fields, as well as other professionals seeking expertise in specific fields,” Carpenter added. “The program enables students to benefit from the collective expertise and knowledge of leaders from UNH Law and Sportradar, and I’m confident will serve as a valuable resource.”

Sportradar is set to assist UNH Law, by offering its technology and data services which monitor US sports and wagering. Furthermore, the technology group will assist students on integrity matters, such as identifying match-fixing and establishing protocols for sports corruption enforcement.
