OPTIMA picks up Systems Management prize at the Oracle Awards

Strategy and tech plans employed by OPTIMA have been vindicated after the company landed a prize for Systems Management at the Oracle Excellence Innovation Awards 2018.

The ceremony, which took place at the Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco on Monday, saw the sports betting and gaming solutions provider rubbing shoulders with leading worldwide tech organisations such as Cisco and Accenture.

Having been on hand to collect the prize, the firm’s CEO Jacob Lopez commented: “A gaming tech company as innovator in cloud systems management is really important for an industry where technology is not always appreciated, and it sometimes matters who has a bigger voice or screams more but not who has a better product.

“By being recognised by a tech giant, OPTIMA has proved that its strategy and tech plans are the right ones for the immediate future. Thank you to Oracle for valuing our contribution in cloud related technologies as innovators.”

Addressing his own team, he added: “Everyone that is part of the OPTIMA family should feel very proud to be recognised from such a highly recognised giant of the tech industry.”

Meanwhile, OPTIMA has also been shortlisted in the following six categories for this year’s SBC Awards – Sportsbook Supplier of the Year, Standalone Platform Provider of the Year, Best Live Betting Product, Best Retail Betting Product, Best Multi-Channel Supplier and Best Service Provider.
