BetConstruct has secured an international agreement with PMU – the leading horse race betting organisation in France.
PMU maintains and modernises hundreds of racetracks, as well as organising thousands of annual races eligible for betting. The agreement gives BetConstruct the opportunity to stream and provide betting markets for French horse racing.
Philippe Thebault, PMU Area Manager, commented: “PMU is very happy with this partnership with BetConstruct, which will give global players the opportunity to bet on French horse racing within the same network as French players.
“This was a first big step, and hopefully this agreement will allow BetConstruct worldwide partners to enjoy French races and PMU’s product, as well as allowing our organisation to extend our distribution coverage with BetConstruct.”
Horse racing is considered as a major contributor to the economy in France with over 2.5 million viewers attracted annually, and approximately €10 billion in turnover. With the purpose of strengthening and renewing the audience, BetConstruct will be supporting a betting market for French gallop and trotting races.
