Donald R. Sweitzer ends tenure as IGT Chairman of Global Solutions

Updating the market, New York-listed gambling technology and lottery systems provider IGT Plc has confirmed that long-term executive Donald R. Sweitzer is set to retire as Chairman of IGT Global Solutions Corporation.

Sweitzer ends a 20-year executive tenure with IGT, in which he has served as a key stakeholder in the gambling technology group’s governmental affairs and multi-national development strategies.

In 2015 Sweitzer was appointed as Chairman of IGT Global Solutions, overseeing and advising the executive team of IGT’s global gambling infrastructure and operational resources.

informing investors onSweitzer upcoming departure, IGT Group Chief Executive Marco Sala thanked the executive for his invaluable contribution to the firm’s growth, effective market strategies, and enhancement of stakeholder partnerships.
