Visually, Pixies of the Forest II is much-improved on the original with sharper graphics and animations. Set in an enchanted forest, symbols on the reels include A, K, Q and J playing cards as well as 3 different pixies – the main pixie will give you 15.15 times your stake for 5 on a payline. The Pixies of the Forest logo though is the most rewarding giving you 30.30 times your stake for 5 across a payline – there’s also a wild that replaces all symbols bar the bonus and jackpot symbols – it appears only on the 3 middle reels in the base game and reels 1 through 4 in the feature.
Like the original, Pixies of the Forest II uses the Tumbling Reels feature – when you get a winning combination, the contributing symbols disappear with the empty spaces filled with symbols tumbling from above. The carries on until no more winning combinations are formed and allows you to win again and again from every spin.
You will also see a Spirit Meter below the reel – this increases by 1 for every winning tumble up to a maximum of 5. If you fill the meter with 3 or more spirits, you will trigger the Feature Wilds feature. You can benefit from 1 or 2 wild reels, 3 random wilds on the 3 middle reels which stay until you get a win or 3 wilds on the 3 middle reels which remain in place for 3 tumbles.
Furthermore, there’s a Mystery Bonus Trigger feature where wilds can randomly transform into bonus symbols to trigger the Pixie Queen’s Free Spin Bonus feature (more on this below). There’s also a Mystery Jackpot Trigger feature where wilds become jackpot symbols to give you access to the Pixie Progressive Picket feature (again more info below).
The Pixie Queen’s Free Spin Bonus feature is also played when you get 3 bonus symbols on reels 1, 2 and 3 simultaneously – you then choose 1 of the bonus symbols to reveal your number of free spins. Additionally, the wild now appears on reel 4 (as well as reels 1, 2 and 3).

Pixies of the Forest II is, in essence, very similar to the original but has lots more bonus features – I like the fact it has 3 progressive jackpots as well as random features in the Pixie Queen’s Free Spin Bonus feature like extra free spins and symbol removals. Variance wise it’s in the middle with potential wins of 2,000 times your stake with the 2x multiplier in the free spins.
