Sportradar continues US legacy partnership with NASCAR

Sports data and content supplier Sportradar has announced a multi-year extension of its media partnership with US professional stock car association NASCAR.

The agreement sees Sportradar renew one of its first major US sports partnerships, having served NASCAR official live data and timings supplier since 2015.

“Sportradar has been an excellent partner that has helped us expand the reach of NASCAR’s live data,” said Tim Clark, Senior VP & Chief Digital Officer at NASCAR.

“Real-time data and live leaderboard content are critical for NASCAR fans who follow the race across a variety of platforms. Working with Sportradar, we’re confident that our loyal fans have access to the information they crave most.”

The NASCAR partnership was the first major US major sports agreement secured by Sportradar’s US advisory board.

Closing 2018, Sportradar would become lead integrity services partner for NASCAR, helping the stock car association build-up its data provisions and market monitoring capacities for the newly liberalised us sports betting market post-PASPA.

“Our relationship with NASCAR is one that we value tremendously,” added Steve Byrd, Head of Global Strategic Partnerships at Sportradar.

“We look forward to extending our remit with them, and are excited to continue delivering real-time data to NASCAR’s fans.”
