Head to the ancient pyramids
With an upbeat drum-inspired soundtrack, John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen takes place with the ancient pyramids in the backdrop. Symbols include A, K, Q and J card suits – you’ll also see bags, gun holsters, Anubis (the dog god) and John Hunter himself.
John Hunter is the most rewarding symbol with 3, 4 or 5 on a payline giving you 0.4, 2 or 32 times your stake. The female Pharaoh is the wild and appears on all reels bar reel 1- it replaces all symbols bar the scatter, Money and collect symbols.
Money Collect feature
There’s a Money Collect feature – lookout for the scarab Money symbol appearing on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4. Each Money symbol has a random cash value attached – if a collect symbol hits on reel 5, 1 of the following extras will apply:
- Collect – the value of all Money symbols will be added together and paid out.
- Extra Credit Collect – the value from the Extra Credit Collect symbol added to all Money symbols on the screen and then paid out.
- Multiplier Collect – the value of all Money symbols is multiplied by the value of the Multiplier Collect symbol, up to 25x, and then paid out.
- Expanding Collect – all reels that contain at least 1 Money symbol expands to take over the whole reel with Money symbols. These are then all added up and paid out.
- Respin Collect – all Money symbols on the reels remain in place with the remaining positions respinning to hopefully reveal new Money Symbols. They are then added together and paid out.
Free Spins feature
John Hunter and the Tomb of the Scarab Queen comes with a Free Spins feature – this is played when 3 pyramid scatters appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 simultaneously. With 8 free spins awarded, Money Symbols can appear on reels 1 through 4 with all Collect symbols appearing on reel 5.
All values of Money symbols are added to a bonus pot located in the top right-hand corner above the reels. Once the free spins are done, a giant Money Symbol appears on reels 1 to 4 with 1 respin awarded – if collect lands on reel 5, the value of the bonus pot is paid out. 3 scatters can also land during the feature to give you 8 more free spins – there’s no limit to how many free spins you can win.
