Betclic launches first interactive show keeping Portugal busy

Betclic has launched its first interactive live streaming event ‘Betclic Game Changer’, seeking to maintain and further expand its Portuguese market profile during lockdown.

The bookmaker’s interactive series has been co-developed by Lisbon-based ‘live engagement’ agency New Collective, organisers of Portugal’s popular ‘Revenge of 90s’ youth culture events.

The interactive series will debut this weekend, live-streamed across Betclic Portugal’s social media platforms. The two-hour broadcast will be hosted by YouTubers Paulo Silva and André Henriques.

In its programme notes, Betclic details that its Game Changer show will not focus on wagering, instead choosing to entertain audiences through fun interactive quizzes, competitions, social challenges and interviews with surprise guests.

Audiences will be able to participate in the live programme and its competitions by registering at  – www.betclicgamechanger.pt.

Backing the launch of Game Changer, Ricardo Domingues, Head of Betclic Portugal, said “in recent weeks our daily focus has been on having ideas that in some way can contribute to people’s entertainment, without having to leave the house, at this difficult time.

“We are not focusing on betting due to the social context but in keeping the brand interacting with our customers in a more informal way.”
