Stats Perform locks up ‘Big May’ by adding esports and darts content

Stats Perform has significantly expanded its betting-related content to help bookmaker clients navigate lockdown complexities, facing the global downturn in live sports content.

The sports-tech innovation studio detailed that it will amplify its Watch&Bet service for bookmakers by adding new esports and PDC Darts programming.

Securing a partnership with leading pro-esports organisation BLAST, Watch&Bet will showcase the popular BLAST CS:GO ‘Spring Series Showdown, – an ‘esports festival’ running matchdays and tournaments from May to June of this year.

Detailing further esports developments, Stats Perform has worked with BLAST in producing its new ‘Rising Series’ – a brand new CS:GO tournament format that will be launched and streamed on the  Watch&Bet platform from 4 May.

Branded as a major coup by Stats Perform, Watch&Bet has also secured the rights to live-stream PDC Darts’ ‘Unibet Home Tour’.

Currently finishing its group stages, the PDC Home Tour comprises 32 consecutive nights of live-action darts. Featuring darts’ leading players, the PDC has captured a global audience, keeping sports fans enthralled during national lockdown.

Gearing up for a ‘big May’, Stats Perform Chief Rights Officer Alex Rice commented: “We are pleased to bring these new properties to the licensed betting market, and help our clients during a period when high-quality live-action is at a premium.

“Live streams help bettors make more informed betting decisions and create a more complete betting entertainment experience, and we are working hard to find and develop more quality properties that will have a similar impact during this period.”
